The Waterfall

We are going up the waterfall.

Up the waterfall?

Go up on high country and hike around?

No, we swim across the river,

packs floating on air mattress

wet affair to the other side

there we lift packs up the rocks

to the top of the waterfall.

Here we go. We swim across.

We climb.

The landscape is different up there

from the top

water tumbling down

down to the wetlands

then to the ocean.
