Mexican Bochos

Mexican Bocho in Coyoacán

A Mexican Bocho is a Volkswagen beetle. An icon of its cities and towns. Many of these are ancient and dressed up in colourful attire while moving people and goods everywhere. They seem indestructible. Some urban prophets predict that they are the only thing that will survive the imminent collapse  of cities and modern civilization.
